At Crossett Middle School, Gavyn "The Goliath" Martin and Kylee "The Konquerer" Malone competed for a gift card in a Literacy Showdown. Throughout the nine weeks, all students competed for the Champion spot -- however, for the first time in Mr. Clark's classroom, two students tied!
Gavyn "The Goliath" Martin walked away the winner of this head to head round as the Literacy Champion of the First Nine Weeks.
Congratulations to these two young scholars!
Crossett School District students will be out of school on Thursday, October 17 for Parent-Teacher Conferences. Students will also be out Friday, October 18 and Monday, October 21 for Fall Break.

Our Artist of the Week are 5th graders: Sadee Johnson, Memphis Smith and Evelyn McElroy. As well as 7th graders: Ivyanna Cason and Ziyah Owens. Each student showed excellent work in last week's project.
